Business Development Manager

The Role:
Identification of NBD by; keeping abreast of the Aerospace Industry, our competitors, our current and potential markets, leading to improved intelligence and ultimately sales revenues.

Reporting To: Head of Sales and Marketing

Ideal Candidate Skills:
You will be a highly motivated and flexible person with an analytical and detailed mind who has a proven track record in the aerospace industry with both current and future development knowledge. You will exhibit capabilities to; undertake research of products and services including pricing and marketing strategies and use the data to maximise development opportunities for the company. You will be an effective communicator and negotiator with an understanding of contracts who is capable of interacting at all levels to exploit new market segments with an ability to close sales in a timely manner.

Mandatory Qualifications/Experience:
• Full Driving Licence
• Degree or equivalent
• Business development
• Solution selling
• Aerospace
• Intermediate IT
• Presentations

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
• Military
• Engineering/technical.

Location: ST18 0PN base - UK and possibly worldwide travel will be required.

Head of Disposals

The Role:
Management of the company’s disposal contract, for the disposal of surplus equipment and military platforms. You will be the key point of contact with the prime contractor and the Disposal Services Agency ensuring that all contract KPi’s are met within budget. You will oversee the division's logistical, sales and administration functions ensuring best recoverable value.

Reporting To: Company Director

Ideal Candidate Skills:

• Ideally you will have 
experience in Aerospace, Disposals and commercial marketing programmes for the MoD coupled with; project and contract management skills, attention to detail, people and presentation skills, be an excellent communicator with Intermediate IT skills and be commercially aware, holding a full driving licence.

Location: ST18 0PF

Salary: Negotiable dependant on Experience

Sales - Disposals

The Role:
A specialised team member focused on the sale of surplus Ministry of Defence Air and Land assets. Successful applicants will build new relationships by identifying market sectors, developing sales packages by platform or product range, and liaising with Marketing to promote the offering. You will assist with categorising in-bound product with the aim of minimising cost and returning maximum sales revenue.

Reporting To: Head of Disposals

Key Responsibilities:
• Seek out and develop business opportunities with new and existing customers
• Generate and manage follow-up of quotations
• Provide excellent Client service and be the main point of interface for designated accounts
• Ensure Client Issues are effectively managed and controlled
• Provide feedback on market trends, client and competitor behaviours.

Successful candidates will have the following essential experience and personal characteristics:
• Aerospace or Defence market experience
• Commercial awareness and good knowledge of contractual Terms & Conditions
• An experienced negotiator, able to communicate at all levels within client organisations
• Project a positive image for the company
• Sense of urgency
• Attention to detail
• Excellent project management & organisational skills

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
